Sundays

We have in-person services across our three locations in Cardiff. We’d love to see you at one this Sunday!

A pre-recorded service is also streamed on YouTube at 10:30am so if you can’t be with us, you can still stay connected.

WHAT TO EXPECT on a sunday

We know that it can feel like a big step to come along for the first time so we want to do everything possible to make sure you enjoy coming to one of our Sunday services.

On arriving, you’ll be greeted by our Welcome Team who will help you feel at home and answer any questions you have got. If you have children or youth with you, there will be a leader from both of these teams waiting to help you sign them into the right age groups for the morning. Our Kids & Youth have groups in our morning services at every site for the entirety of the service. You can pop your kids into their groups up to 10 minutes before the main service starts, giving you plenty of time to grab a coffee and find somewhere to sit. For parents of children under 1, there will be a creche area for you to use as and when you need to.

We serve refreshments before every service, including tea, coffee and doughnuts (except in our West Site currently). At the Central Evening Service we don’t serve hot drinks but do have cans of fizzy drinks available. These are all absolutely free so please help yourself!

Our services all follow the same format each week. We start with 25 minutes (or so) of sung worship led by a band. All the words of the songs come up on a screen so that you can join in if you want to. After this we share a few notices about what’s coming up in the life of the church and how to get more involved. We then take a short 2-minute break, giving you a chance to say ‘hello’ to those around you.  After the break there will be a 25-minute talk based on the Bible, followed by an opportunity to receive prayer.

You can be as involved as you want to be in the service – you can just sit and watch what is going on if you’d prefer. Sometimes people ask what they should wear on a Sunday – our answer is simple: whatever you feel most comfortable in! Most people dress casually so there’s no need to make a special effort on our behalf!

Whether you have been to church before or not, you are so welcome at Vineyard.
